In September 2023 when the Supreme People's Court, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and other departments jointly launched a national "Quality Month" campaign, the Supreme People's Court published a number of typical cases regarding crimes of endangering drug safety, strengthened interpretation of laws by using specific cases, effectively deterred those who endangered drug safety, and created a social climate where the whole society jointly safeguard drug safety.
2023年9月，在最高人民法院、国家市场监督管理总局等部门联合开展全国“质量月”活动期间，最高人民法院发布一批危害药品安全犯罪典型案例，加强以案释法，有力震慑危害药品安全犯罪，形成全社会共同维护药品安全的浓厚氛围。

Drug safety matters the physical health and life safety of the people, the national economy and people's livelihood, and the overall social stability. The CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has always attached great importance to drug safety, emphasized that efforts should be made to accelerate the establishment of a scientific and complete drug safety governance system by implementing the "four strictest" requirements, paid equal attention to production and management, and strictly controlled every line of defense from laboratories to hospitals. The people's courts at all levels should strictly implement the "four strictest" requirements, give full play to their trial functions, severely punish crimes of endangering drug safety in accordance with the law, and effectively ensure drug safety of the people. From 2013 to 2022, the people's courts across the country concluded over 28,000 criminal cases of first instance involving crimes of producing, selling, and providing fake drugs, producing, selling, and providing inferior drugs, and obstructing drug management and sentenced more than 38,000 persons.
药品安全事关人民群众身体健康和生命安全，事关国计民生，事关社会大局稳定。以习近平同志为核心的党中央始终高度重视药品安全工作，强调以“四个最严”加快建立科学完善的药品安全治理体系，坚持产管并重，严把从实验室到医院的每一道防线。各级人民法院严格落实“四个最严”要求，充分发挥审判职能作用，依法严惩危害药品安全犯罪，切实保障人民群众用药安全。2013年至2022年，全国法院共审结生产、销售、提供假药罪，生产、销售、提供劣药罪以及妨害药品管理罪一审刑事案件2.8万余件，判决人数3.8万余人。
